We are a small boutique cattery, therefore we not breed a lot of kittens, the ones we do are of a high quality and highly desirable.
All kittens bred at Silhouette are fully registered with the Feline Control Council of Victoria, Australia. Pedigree papers of the parents are available at all times and kitten pedigree papers available on request.
When they leave us for their new homes at about 12 weeks of age they will have received the very best in love, attention and socialization in preparation for their life as a cherished companion.
Once vaccinated we encourage lots of interaction with our children, visitors and the family dog. We encourage people to interact with their kitten and come meet the parents. We understand it’s a big decision to purchase their companion for the next 12 or so years. After many years of breeding we’ve found this system encourages a well-adjusted kitten able to relocate to their new home with minimal stress.
Each kitten will have been vaccinated at least once (but the new owner will need to complete the vaccination course), regularly wormed and micro-chipped prior to your visit so you will have proof you receive the kitten chosen.
Our pet kittens have been desexed and vet checked at least twice prior to re-homing.
All our breeding cats are DNA tested for a full diseases and traits screen. You will receive a copy of the parents DNA test. They are free of HCM and PKD (Heart and kidney issues that can cause early death).
Our cattery is tested free for FIV and Felv.
We offer a 12 month health guarantee against congenital defects and diseases. The health guarantee is voided if the kitten/cat is allowed to roam outdoors.
To protect both to protect buyer and seller all kittens are sold with a Contract of Sale, a copy will be provided to potential buyers prior to making a commitment.
We are confident that our kittens will give many years of loving companionship to their prospective owners.
Six weeks free pet insurance is offered through Pet Plan.
KITTEN PRICING
Kitten pricing depends on parentage, pattern and colour, our pet kittens are mostly priced $2500-$3000. The cost of a pedigree kitten can vary depending on its pedigree, show quality, colour and pattern. You get to choose.
Occasionally we have retirees available. We look for the best homes for them. We usually charge a nominal fee to cover their vet work that is appropriate to age.
Once you have chosen your kitten at 7-8 weeks, we accept a deposit of $250, with the balance payable prior to or on collection ay the 12-week rehoming visit.
Deposits are non-refundable and any refund is at the discretion of Silhouette Ragdolls depending on circumstances.
